Case Studies

Our clients find our restaurant paging systems to be indispensable.

Take a look at our case studies, to find out more.

Client: Sophie's Steakhouse and Bar

System: Autocall server paging system

Sophie's Steakhouse and Bar is a high-volume, mid-market brasserie with two London branches.

The 200-seat Covent Garden branch serves around 1,000 customers a day, while the 100-seat Chelsea branch welcomes up to 400 visitors a day through its doors. Neither of the restaurants takes reservations, so service has to be slick and efficient.

Both restaurants make use of the system's waiter-call and customer-call functions.

Sophie Bathgate, owner of Sophie's Steakhouse and Bar, says, "We needed a silent way of alerting our waiting staff that orders were ready, and of keeping food service up to speed. The Autocall system does both of these things."

Sophie adds, "The Autocall system manages the whole team, without you even realising it. I don't know how we'd cope without it."

Client: Langland's Brasserie

System: Expeditor wireless paging system

Langland's Brasserie is a café bar brasserie located on South Wales's Gower Peninsula. The restaurant's idyllic location overlooking Langland Bay makes it a popular establishment: at busy times, it serves around 500-600 customers a day.

The restaurant is designed over two levels, with the kitchen on the ground floor and the dining area on the first floor. Prior to the installation of the Expeditor system, communication between the serving staff and the kitchen took place via an internal telephone line.

The disadvantage of the telephone system was twofold. First, serving staff had to queue up to use the telephone - wasting valuable serving time. Second, the chef had to interrupt what he was doing in order to answer calls.

The Expeditor system solves both of these problems. It speeds up service, and provides an efficient way for staff to communicate with each other.

Speaking of the system, Emilio Fragiacome, owner of Langland's Brasserie, says, "The Expeditor system was straightforward to install, and it fits in unobtrusively with our décor. The system is also reliable - it hasn't broken down since the day we installed it." He adds, "The Expeditor system has increased service speed, and with it our turnover."
