AUTOCALL
can
be used in a wide range of situations. In restaurants and large bars it
can be used to make customer seating more efficient(Customer Call System),
rather than turning customers away or asking them to come back, you can
seat them in the reception area where they can have a pre dinner drink,
and as soon as a table is ready the waiter can page reception via the
Autocall system. Similarly, when covers are
ready, the kitchen can inform the waiters' station via the Autocall
unit.
Layaway is a two way system whereby waiting staff can page the Chef to let him know that a table is ready for the next course. The number appears on a display panel in the kitchen, and when the next course is ready the Chef cancels the number from his display and it is then displayed on the panel in the Restaurant. In Pubs the Autocall can be used to call customers to return to the bar to collect their food orders.
